Lucas says giving back to the community is very important to Hard Rock.
While other companies have been adversely affected, Hard Rock has been able to leverage its position with suppliers and local vendors to stay on track. Lucas says they are on track to open the full-site in May 2024, as they haven't had major setbacks due to supply issues. They sell some items from Southern Churn in their Rock Shop, and they are using Blackbird Bakery as they do not have a bakery of their own on-site. Evangelista says they use dry cleaners in Kingsport for all of their uniforms, Southern Churn, and Blackbird Bakery to help meet their needs. He says they are working with businesses locally and regionally. A graduate from the University of Tennessee, Lucas says Evangelista and the Bristol Casino team are working with the whole community surrounding the project. Lucas says Tennessee is a major consideration, secondary to Virginia.
